Joe Henderson
RPAS (Drone) Coordinator / RPAS Pilot / Commercial Pilot Certified
From early childhood Joe has held a genuine fascination for things that fly – from birds to bombers.
At age 8 Joe began building and flying (often crashing) remote control aircraft. At age 17, he was duct taping video cameras on gas powered models.
After graduating from University in Alberta, Joe moved to Vancouver Island and finished a Commercial Pilots license. 20 years later Joe still keeps a hand in commercial aviation but his passion is clearly the drone world. Joe remarks “It is a challenge keeping up with this rapidly advancing technology – but well worth it.”
Joe holds a current Commercial Pilots License and an Advanced RPAS (drone) Pilots License with Instructor privileges.
Shawn Stewart
Advanced RPAS License / Commerical Pilot
Shawn is a founding member of Agile Drone Services and has from day one brought tremendous value and experience to the table.
Shawns passions include aviation, aerial robotics and all things outdoors. Shawns specialty is mapping. He has the requisite skills to plan / collect and process huge data sets to create valuable survey quality reports for mapping applications.
Shawn holds a Commercial Pilots License is a Transport Canada Approved Check Pilot and an Advanced RPAS (drone) License holder.
Keegan Rink
Advanced Drone Pilot - Saltspring Island
Keegan joins Agile Drone Services bringing his 16 years of commercial aviation experience with him.
A welcomed addition to the team, Keegan’s passion for photography marries perfectly with his interest and experience in aviation.
Part bush pilot, part commuter pilot, Keegan now holds an Advanced drone license with the required skills to get your drone work done right.
Home base for Keegan is Salt Spring Island, and as such, Keegan tackles drone aviation jobs in the Canadian Gulf Islands.
Guus Alferink
Videographer / Video Editor
Guus’ passion for videography began as a young teenager when he would create short films with his friends.
He attended Victoria Film School, graduating with a certification in Production and has continued his love of film through watching movies and shooting independent projects in his spare time.
With a keen eye for detail and passion for the art form, Guus favours epic cinematic shots.
Jackie Vandervlugt
RPAS Operator / BSc
Jackie is a Geologist and a graduate of the Geology and Geography BSc program at the University of Victoria.
Jackie has been part of the aviation industry since 2016 and is an experienced remote aircraft pilot.
Jackie is a Transport Canada certified RPAS operator for small drones up to 25kg. Her experience includes flying geophysical surveys in remote areas across Southwestern and Central British Columbia.
In addition, Jackie has extensive experience working with all aspects of ArcGIS and Microsoft Suite.
Daniel Evans
Masters in Landscape Architecture / G.I.S. Technician
Daniel is a Master of Landscape Architecture student with an undergraduate background in Geography.
He has a thorough understanding of GIS applications and is well versed in software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Rhinoceros 3D.
Born on Norfolk Island, Australia, Daniel is inspired by global approaches to solving local problems. An example of this is his collaboration with Parks Australia in helping create a digital model of an ecologically-based restoration project at the Cockpit reserve, located on Norfolk Island.
Daniel vigilantly works with clients to ensure a high quality product is produced.
Eric Peterson
Director / Editor / Advanced Drone Pilot (Vancouver)
Eric’s journey began at 16, crafting mountain bike films and sponsored content. Today, his portfolio spans Canada’s corporate, aviation, recruitment, and documentary landscapes.
Eric has merged camera finesse with solid drone experience. As a contract pilot, his multifaceted skills enrich our Agile Drone Services projects. We eagerly embrace his creative flair and multi-sector experience.
Chris Roberts
Advanced RPAS Pilot / RPAS Flight Reviewer
Chris joins the Agile Drone Services team with a lifelong appreciation of all things that fly.
A commercial pilot for nearly twenty years, Chris enjoys staying on the forefront of trends in aviation safety and technology.
Chris’ aviation career has included roles in instruction, operations management, RPAS (UAV) pilot and is currently an Approved Check Pilot for Transport Canada. Based in Squamish, Chris services the Sea to Sky region for Agile Drones Services.
