The Matrice M300 RTK is the Flagship Industrial Drone from DJI. The M300 evolved from the previous long standing M600 / M100 / M210 Drones and came together as a powerful, reliable and adaptable flying solution for many industrial applications.

The smart controller allows for flexible 2 crew operations for law enforcement, search and rescue, Fire safety, inspections etc. All of the important sensors are done twice for reliability – two IMU’s, two compasses etc.

The M2 EA is much more compact drone offering several of the key features offered in larger machines.

Capture accurate details in any mission with the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced – With high-resolution thermal and visual cameras, the M2EA supports up to 32× digital zoom and is capable of centimeter-level positioning accuracy with the RTK module

The Zenmuse H20 Series is a perfect match for the powerful M300 RTK.

This camera payload is multiple sensors in 1. The H20 boasts a 12 MP wide angle and a 20 MP 1/1.7” CMOS Sensor. The 20 MP Camera is further enhanced by an optical zoom 23 X Optical Zoom to an astounding Max Zoom of 200 X.

It is difficult to describe the zoom capability of this Camera without seeing it in person. A laser rangefinder is co-witnessed to the main cameras that allow for not only measuring distances with accuracy but also for capturing a latitude and longitude of a subject of interest. This allows for sharing of location of what the camera is seeing.

The Zenmuse P1 is 45MP Full frame camera designed to plug into the gimbal port on the M300 RTK Drone.

The main initial purpose for this sensor was to make short work of Photogrammetry missions and for 3d modelling of large areas.

The P1 is the new benchmark for drone survey equipment ertic– it can attain accuracy of 3 cm horizontal and / 5cm m without the use the survey ground control points. 

The P1 combined with the M300 RTK can map an area of 3km X 3km in one single flight. 

The Zenmuse L1 is an integrated and multipurpose survey payload. The sensor contains a high -accuracy IMU with a Lidar module. The Lidar is coaxial with a colour camera as well with a 1” CMOS sensor.

The L1 allows for Lidar survey in treed areas where photogrammetry starts to fail. Moreover, the laser derived point cloud can be combined with the images captured by the colour camera.

Lidar and real life colour for highly accuratge reconstructed models. The Zenmuse L1 was built for the M300 RTK and works very well with the smart controller.

One additional use case is for real time imaging for natural disasters and rapid response assessment. As the drone builds the point cloud you can see the image directly on the smart controller. This image can be shared in real time.

The Enterprise Smart Controller from DJI is the main user interface for the M300 Drone and all of the optional sensors it carries. DJI made the controller with a combination of a large, bright viewing screen and precise buttons and joysticks for flight.

The overall feel and ergonomics are excellent and high quality. DJI has adapted a hot-swappable battery on the back for persistent use while on long missions as well as a long life internal battery.

The M300 RTK uses the two TB60 batteries as a pair for flight and sensor power. The battery has its own onboard computer for management. As an intelligent battery, the TB60 will self heat when in very cold environments and will manage temperatures when taking a charge and protect itself from thermal damage.

Each battery also has a push button battery meter for quick checks in the field. The TB60 flight battery is hot swappable – no need to power off the drone. Depending on the mission, we suggest 3 flying sets as practical number of batteries.

The Intelligent Battery station is a required item when operating the M300rtk. The battery station itself is a ruggedized case with travel wheels, two secure handles and pressure relief valve. Inside the case, there are 12 battery stations for both storage and for charging. 8 station are for the TB 60 flight battery and 4 stations are for the external smart controller battery.
